As a service to our regular clients we provide boarding for dogs, cats, exotics and reptiles.
Dogs and cats must be current on their vaccinations: DHPP, Rabies and Bordatella for dogs and FVRCP and Rabies for cats.
If the pet has not been vaccinated at the Broad River Animal Hospital, and you cannot provide proof of vaccination
by another veterinarian, your pet will be vaccinated at your expense.
This is both for your own pet’s protection as well as the safety of our other boarding pets.
Reservations should be made in advance, particularly during the holidays or school vacations.
Any pet found to have fleas, ticks or worms will be treated at the owner’s expense.
If your pet should become ill during boarding, your pet will be examined immediately by one of our doctors and,
if needed, treatment will be started until your return or we are able to contact you.
We will make every effort to contact you if the condition is at all serious.
Owners will be responsible for any charges related to their pet’s illness.
You will be asked to fill out a Boarding form when you drop off your pet that gives us information about your pet’s
diet and health. If you prefer, you may download the form, fill it out at home and bring it with you when you drop
off your pet.
For your convenience, we can perform any needed procedures while your pet is here boarding, such as dental cleaning,
needed elective surgical procedures, annual physical examination or baths. Please let the receptionist know when you
schedule your boarding appointment that you’d like these procedures done while your pet is staying with us.
Please call ahead before picking up your pet as some pets may require some clean up before going home.
